Projected 2015 Minnesota Swarm ScheduleAugust 26, 2014Based on past years, the NLL schedule comes out around Labor Day. My hunch is September 2nd or 3rd just right after Labor Day if all the "t's" are crossed and "i's" are dotted. We are still waiting for Connecticut to come up with any news like a website or if the NLL Board of Governors approved the transfer from Philadelphia to Connecticut. We know they will play at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT where the Connecticut Sun WNBA team plays and at the same site as a very prosperous casino and hotel. Anyways, by the time the NLL schedule comes out, the Minnesota Swarm gets the scraps leftover by the Minnesota Mild, the Minnesota State High School League, the WCHA, the World's Toughest Rodeo and who knows what else at the Xcel Energy Center. So now I try to predict based on what is already taken and project your 2015 Minnesota Swarm Schedule. First off, the team wants as many Saturday nights as possible since they are most highly attended of any time during the week that the NLL plays. That goes for pretty much any sports organization, so after the Mild sheared off a bunch along with the MSHSL, I see six Saturday nights for the Swarm. The other three the team plugs in on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Below, I list Xcel Enery Center availabitity from the end of December through April.
