  • 07-25-08 - Mpls St. Paul Business Journal: New Swarm Owner to Focus on Small Business, Students
  • 07/24/08 - Kyle Ross selected by the Boston Blazers in the 2008 Expansion Draft
    Kyle Ross was selected 8th in today's expansion draft by the Boston Blazers. Ross scored three goals and seven assists in fifteen regular season games for the Swarm. He also scored his first NLL goal in the playoff game against Buffalo in 2007.

  • 07-16-08 - Associated Press - New Swarm owner wants Minnesotans on team
  • 07/16/08 - John Arlotta officially becomes the owner of the Minnesota Swarm
    The NLL Board of Governors approve the sale of the Minnesota Swarm which transfers ownership of the team from Craig Leipold to John Arlotta.
  • 07/10/08 - The Swarm protect 13 runners and one goaltender
    Nick Patterson is the only goaltender protected by the Minnesota Swarm from the Boston Blazers for their expansion draft on July 24, 2008.
  • 07/08/08 - Who will the Swarm Protect for 2008?
    The Swarm will announce today who they will protect for the 2008 Expansion Draft on July 24. Here is my uneducated guess at who will be on that list.
  • 07/01/08 - Happy Canada Day, McKay gets traded to Edmonton
    One day as a Swarm was it for Chris McKay as he is traded back to his 2008 team, the Edmonton Rush, for a second round pick in the 2008 Entry Draft.
