    Saturday, February 27, 2010 - 8:00 pm CST
    Pepsi Center
    Denver, Colorado

The last time we saw our favorite local professional indoor lacrosse team, the Minnesota Swarm (3-4), they were flying a mile high past this weekend's opponent, the Colorado Mammoth (2-5), at the X last Saturday. Minnesota beat Colorado 15-5 for the team's largest margin of victory in franchise history that earned them their first two gamw winning streak since they won three last year from February 27 - March 14. The two straight wins at home is the most for the Swarm since they won six straight at home in 2008. They have scored 31 goals in the last two games, the defense and goaltending have been stellar and they right back in the playoff race. Read More...

    Minnesota Swarm
    (2-4 H 2-1 A 0-3)

    Colorado Mammoth
    (2-4 H 0-3 A 2-1)

    Saturday, February 20, 2010 - 7:30 pm CST
    Xcel Energy Center
    St. Paul, Minnesota

When we last saw our local professional indoor lacrosse team, the Minnesota Swarm (2-4), there were many brilliant goals, smashing hits and especially good cheer in abundance amongst the blue and gold. The cause of that was the Swarm's crushing 16-12 victory over the now once beaten Washington Stealth last Saturday night at the X. To think the Swarm actually down 1-0 in early in the game, is quite unbelievable considering how well they played. The five straight goals to take the lead in the first quarter firmly established control of the game in the Swarm's favor for the rest of the night. The win ended the Swarm's three game losing streak and gave them a 2-1 home record for the 2010 season. Read More...

    Minnesota Swarm
    (1-4 H 1-1 A 0-3)

    Washington Stealth
    (6-0 H 4-0 A 2-0)

    Saturday, February 13, 2010 - 7:30 pm CST
    Xcel Energy Center
    St. Paul, Minnesota

After a two week engagement that saw your and mine favorite local professional indoor lacrosse team travel to both coasts of the United States, the Minnesota Swarm (1-4) return home to the Xcel Energy Center for a two game homestand. They start the homestand this Saturday night finsihing off a home and home series against the West division leading and undefeated Washington Stealth (6-0). Our Swarm are on a three game losing streak and needless to say but I say needless things, the Swarm have got to start winning now. With only six division games left this season for the Swarm who are only 1-3 in the division, this homestand gives the Swarm the opportunity to even that very crucial division record up if they can beat the Stealth on Saturday night and the Mammoth the following weekend. This is the third game in a row that yours and mine favorite local professional indoor lacrosse team, the Minnesota Swarm (1-3), play a team with a zero in their record. Unlike the previous two opponents, this week's opponent, the Washington Stealth (5-0), have a zero in the loss column instead of in the win column. Read More...
