- 05/17/12 - Andrew Suitor is named to the NLL All-Pro First Team after he won Transition Player of the Year earlier
in the week
Jeff Gilbert was named to the NLL All-Pro Second Team. Gilbert, in his first year with the Swarm after arriving from the
Toronto Rock in a trade, emerged as the team's top defenseman and one of the team's leaders. His 26 forced turnovers were third
in the NLL and his eleven points (2g, 9a) were a career high.
- 05/16/12 - Jordan MacIntosh and Evan Kirk are named to the NLL All-Rookie Team. Both players were first round picks by
the Swarm in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft. MacIntosh, who also played in the NLL All-Star game, set a team record with 153 loose balls.
He also scored 23 goals and 28 assists and won 120 faceoffs to lead the team. Kirk finished as the number one goaltender for the
Swarm with a 9.81 GAA and .807 save %. He was net for the Swarm's first ever playoff victory earlier this month against Colorado.
- 05/15/12 - Andrew Suitor is named the NLL Transition Player of the Year. This was Suitor's second year in the league and
first as team captain. He scored 15 goals and 11 assists and scooped 120 loose balls.
- 05/12/12 - The Swarm lose to the Edmonton Rush in the West Division Finals, 15-3, at
The Hive. It was the Swarm's first ever appearance in a Division Final.
- 05/09/12 - Joe Sullivan is named the NLL Head Coach of the Year after he took over midseason from Mike Lines. Sullivan
finished the season with 7-4 record which includes a 1-1 playoff record
- 05/08/12 - John Arlotta is named the NLL General Manager of the Year after assembling a team that had 13 rookies play
throughout the season to the team's first winning record since 2008.
- 05/05/12 - The Swarm defeat the Colorado Mammoth 14-10 in Denver to open the West Division Playoffs with four goals and three assists from Ryan

- 05/02/12 - Jordan MacIntosh is named the NLL Transition Player of the Week for the week ending April 29th
