D. Hill, Secore & DeFranceso Signed

The Swarm signed the following player to two-year contracts:

  • F - Dean Hill - 14 GP 32g 21a 29 LB - (2006-07 Swarm) - D. Hill is here to score goals and score goals is what he has done. His 32 goals last year for the Swarm are a single-season team record.

The Swarm signed the following players to one-year contracts:

  • F - Andy Secore - 14 GP 10g 12a 47 LB - The lefty forward was selected with the fifth pick in this month's dispersal draft. The Swarm traded Matt Disher to Edmonton to get the fifth pick in the draft to get Secore. So Marty O'Neill must see some potential, but he may only be here for one year as he will go back to Arizona if they come back or be redispersed if they don't, with no guarantee of Minnesota being able to get him back.
  • F - Scott Defrancesco - Free Agent signing - Height 6-3 Weight 180 - A lefty drafted by Calgary in 2007 Entry Draft in the third round 38th overall. Released 11/13/07 by Calgary and signed by the Swarm on 11/19/07. Played Junior A ball in Ontario for the Mississauga Tomahawks.
