Summer Playoffs In MLL for Swarm Players

The MLL playoffs begin with single game semifinals on Saturday, August 16th on CBS Sports Network. The Steinfeld Cup will be on
Saturday, August 23rd in Atlanta on CBS Sports Network at 6:00 pm Central. There will be a new MLL champion this year as the two-time defending champions,
the Chesapeake Bayhawks, missed the playoffs.
- Ohio Machine (4) at Rochester Rattlers (1) - 2:00 pm CT Saturday, August 16th
- Ohio Machine - Logan Schuss (28g 10a) and Sam Bradman (3g 1a)
- Rochester Rattlers - Jordan MacIntosh (17g 11a)
- Former Swarm Dominique Alexander (3g 4a) who is an unrestricted free agent due to finishing the
2014 season on the practice roster plays for the Machine.
- Former 2010 Swarm draft pick Scott Rodgers (1-1 13.66 GAA .548 Save%) is the backup goaltender for the Machine.
- The Machine will be making their playoff debut in their third season of operation.
- New York Lizards (3) at Denver Outlaws (2) - 4:30 pm CT Saturday, August 16th
- New York Lizards - Matt Gibson (7g 4a)
- Denver Outlaws - Cameron Flint (5g 2a)
- Former Swarm Keith Cromwell is an assistant with the Lizards and won a Steinfeld Cup in 2004 for the Philadelphia Barrage.
- Former Swarm Zack Greer (4g 8a) plays for the Outlaws
- Jason Noble's brother Jeremy (3a) plays for the Outlaws. Jeremy is a player that the Swarm have targeted to draft in the
2014 NLL Entry Draft but he may go first overall before the Swarm are able to pick at number three after they traded the first overall pick to
Edmonton.
- Former 2011 Swarm draft pick Brian Karalunas (1a) plays for the Lizards.
- Greg Downing and Mitch Belisle are the only current Swarm players to win a
Steinfeld Cup and they won it as teammates in 2011 with the Cannons.
