Series History:
This will be the second of three games this season between the two teams. The first game was on March 8th in Buffalo
where the Bandits came back down 9-8 to start the fourth quarter to beat the Swarm, 12-9.
Zach Higgins saved a career high 45 shots and Josh Gillam had a hat trick and an assist. Mark Steenhuis had
four goals and two assists for the Bandits and Anthony Cosmo had 46 saves.
The Swarm have beaten the Bandits in two consecutive home games by rather large margins. 19-11 in 2012 and 21-7 in 2013. The Swarm had lost
their first six home games to the Bandits previous to the win in 2012.
Last Games
The Swarm returned home last Sunday and came back from four goals down in the fourth quarter to tie the Rock to force overtime. The Rock; though,
won it in overtime with a goal by Colin Doyle. The win by the Rock clinched the season series for them over the Swarm.
The Bandits played on Friday night in Edmonton and lost 14-5 as they only scored two goals in the last three
quarters of the game.
Notes
- Ryan Benesch makes his return to The Hive since he was traded along with Andrew Watt this past offseason for future draft picks. He had two assists in the first
game between the two teams this season. He leads the Bandits in points and assists. His replacement, Logan Schuss, is comparing favorably to
Benesch, stats wise, except for the most important stat - team record.

- The 2-9 start is the worst start to a season in team history, equaling their 2-9 start in the inaugural 2005 season.
Also in that season, the Swarm lost their first five at home. If the Swarm lose on Sunday, they will tie that 2005 with five
straight losses to start the home part of the schedule.
- The Swarm have scored less than nine goals per home game in three of their four home games. They have given up more than fourteen goals
per home game in three of their four home games.
- Buffalo and Rochester can clinch a playoff spot if the Bandits beat the Swarm. If that would to occur the
Swarm at best could get third in the East.
- Callum Crawford (130) needs one more goal to tie Sean Pollock (131) for second all-time in Swarm regular season goals.
- Crawford is tied for the NLL lead with three shorthanded goals.
- Jordan MacIntosh is 4th in the NLL with 116 loose balls
- Tyler Carlson is fourth in the NLL with 11.10 GAA
- Logan Schuss is tied for third in the NLL with 7 power play goals. He leads all rookies with 19 goals. He is second amongst NLL rookies with 19 assists and 38 points.
- Andrew Suitor leads the NLL with 48 penalty minutes
- Starting Goaltenders - Swarm: ?????? & Bandits - Anthony Cosmo (2nd in Wins, 3rd in GAA & 1st in Saves in the NLL)
- Faceoffs - Swarm: Jordan MacIntosh & Bandits - Jay Thorimbert (3rd in FO wins in the NLL)
- Swarm - 9.8 goals per game (9th in NLL) - 12.1 goals given up per game (4th in NLL)
- Bandits - 11.3 goals per game (5th in NLL) - 10.5 goals given up per game (3rd in NLL)
- Power Play - Swarm 46.0% (4th in NLL) & Bandits 38.3% (8th in NLL)
- Penalty Kill - Swarm 55.3% (3rd in NLL) & Bandits 53.2% (7th in NLL)
- Penalty Minutes Per Game - Swarm 17.5 (4th in NLL) & Bandits 15.0 (7th in NLL)
- John Tavares (1,701) surpassed 1,700 points in his NLL career on Friday night. He needs two goals (798)
to reach 800 for his NLL career. He leads the NLL all-time in goals, assists and points and probably many other numerous records too numerous to count or remember.
- Jay Thorimbert is firth in the NLL with 112 loose balls
- Steve Priolo is fourth in the NLL with 19 forced turnoves, fifth in the NLL with 35 penalty minutes, tied for first with 3 shorthanded goals and leads all NLL defensemen with 7 goals
