- 05/20/07 - Cousins Wins Gold
Ryan Cousins won gold for Team Canada at the 2007 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Halifax. Team Canada beat the Iroquois Nationals, 15-14 in overtime,
to win the gold. Dean Hill and Travis Hill played for the Iroquois and D. Hill's goal tied it at 14 to send the game into overtime.
- 05/19/07 - McLean Suffers Serious Knee Injury
Ashton McLean has suffered a serious knee injury (MCL, ACL and patella damage) yesterday while playing for Team Scotland against Team USA at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Halifax. McLean was carried off on a stretcher according to reports. The chances that McLean plays for the Swarm in 2008 are doubtful at best now.
- 05/09/07 - Cousins and Patterson Named NLL All-Pros
Ryan Cousins has been named to the NLL All-Pro First Team for 2007. He is the first All-Pro First Team member in Swarm history.
Nick Patterson has been named to the NLL All-Pro Second Team in 2007. Patterson has made NLL All-Pro Second Team for two consecutive years.
- 05/04/07 - O'Neill Named NLL General Manager of the Year
The architect of the Minneosta Swarm, Marty O'Neill has been named 2007 NLL General Manager of the Year. In his third year in charge of
the Swarm, O'Neill has accumulated a young core group of players that have improved each of the three years of Swarm lacrosse with a franchise best 3rd place finish in the East
and 9-7 record. Significant moves for the 2007 season included acquiring Mike Hominuck and Ryan Sharp in two separate February trades from Portland.

Ryan Cousins was the only Swarm player named today to Team Canada for the 2007 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Halifax at the end
of the month.
- 05/01/07 - Captain Cousins Named NLL Defensive Player of the Year
The NLL announced that Swarm Captain Ryan Cousins is the 2007 NLL Defensive Player of the Year. Cousins is the first
Swarm player to win a NLL Season Award in team history. Cousins has been the captain for the Swarm for all three seasons of Swarm lacrosse. A three-time
All-Star, Cousins played in all sixteen regular season games in 2007 with 9g 14a 108 LB. The 108 loose balls is a Swarm single season record. Cousins also
had two goals in last month's playoff loss to Buffalo.
