Minnesota Swarm Roster After 2014 NLL Entry Draft

The Minnesota Swarm finished up the 2014 NLL Entry Draft yesterday with their top pick being Co-Tewaaraton Trophy winner Miles Thompson. Joining him as a first round pick is Shane MacDonald from the Brampton Junior Excelsiors. The Swarm also had the tenth pick which they used on Minto Cup champion Joe Haodais Maracle from Six Nations. They also drafted three other players in later rounds in Eric Guiltinan, Patrick Miles and enforcer Paxton Leroux. In order to get the pick to take Leroux, the Swarm traded Jay Card to New England. With the draft and earlier trades and signings, the Swarm roster is looking a bit different from the end of the 2014 season.
