New Swarm players Craig Point (3 goals) and Andy Secore (2 goals) made immediate good impressions but the Swarm
fall 14-10 to the Knighthawks in a pre-season scrimmage in Six Nations, ON.
The Swarm traded yet another player selected in last month's dispersal draft. This time, it is goaltender Ryan Avery and he is going to Calgary to play for the Roughnecks. In return, the Swarm get a second round pick in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft. With Avery gone, that leaves Kevin Croswell and Angus Goodleaf battling for the back up spot behind starter Nick Patterson.
12/04/07 - Darren Halls Signs for Two Years
The Swarm signed up defenseman Darren Halls for two years today. Halls was acquired along with Craig Point on draft
day in September from the Boston Blazers. Last year, Halls played for the San Jose Stealth where he played 13 games with 2g 4a 33 LB.
