Minnesota Swarm General Manager Marty O'Neill mentions in an email about the scrimmage from what he was told about it.
Angus Goodleaf looked well in net as he played the last three quarters of the game as they battle for the third goaltender spot. Who knows maybe Goodleaf forces the Swarm carry three goaltenders on the active roster? Brad Favero is making the lefthanded battle at forward even more heated. The Swarm maybe now have too many lefties and with Favero stepping up, that spot now has some good young depth. Marc Jackson continues to impress and it seems every time you talk to Marty, he can't stop talking about Jackson. Both of them may prove to be the hardest players for the Swarm to make a decision on whether to keep or release. Other players who were mentioned as looking good on Sunday were Chad Culp, Darren Halls, Stu Hill, Travis Hill, Nick Inch and Andrew Watt.
Kevin Buchanan and Ricky Pages were the only Americans who played on Sunday. All the western and Minnesota based players were not in attendance. Ryan Cousins and Jon Sullivan are participating in firefighting school at this time making them unavailable for this past scrimmage. No word if they will be in school this weekend.
These are the players that played in the scrimmage along with any stats, to the best of my knowledge:
