• 09/29/06 - The Swarm vs Rock in Exhibition in Winnipeg

  The Toronto Rock released their pre-season schedule for the upcoming season and one of the games is against the Minnesota Swarm.

  The two teams will meet in Winnipeg on December 9th at the MTS Centre. That means a road trip for yours truly.
  

• 09/21/06 - Questions for Marty O'Neill

  Earlier this week, Marty O'Neill was in the Twin Cities as reported in his GM Update on the Swarm's Team Website. He contacted me and said if I had any questions that he would answer them. I told him that I would use them on the message board I emailed numerous questions to him and he is answering 4 or 5 at a time considering the questions were many and he has life to lead.
  

• 09/19/06 - Attwood Signs with Arizona

  Mike Attwood has been the Swarm's third goaltender for the first two years of the team. Not anymore. Today he signed an one-year contract with the Arizona Sting. Attwood did not dress for the Swarm in 2006 and spent the majority of it on the practice roster. Since he finished the season on the practice roster, Attwood automatically became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2006 season. Attwood played three games for the Swarm in 2005, all in relief with a 12.09 GAA and .733 save percentage.
  

• 09/14/06 - Ryan Cousins Wins Third Mann Cup

  Swarm Captain Ryan Cousins won his third Mann Cup in a row this time back with the Peterborough Lakers as they beat the Victoria Shamrocks, 4 games to 1 in Peterborough, Ontario. Cousins was on last year's Victoria team that won the Cup but this year he dealt Kelly Hall, Sean Pollock, Noah Talbot and Jon Sullivan Mann Cup defeat. Cousins still needs four more Mann Cups to catch former Swarm player Neil Doddridge, who has seven Mann Cups on his mantel.
  

• 09/13/06 - Swarm Wheel and Deal on Draft Day

  Swarm General Manager Marty O'Neill had to wait a while to make a pick today because he has dealt the early ones back and forth so many times to make your head spin.
