- 12/30/04 - The Swarm Make One Roster Move Before Opener
The Minnesota Swarm released rookie defenseman Michael Kilby and signed
forward Jayme Bryde. Bryde was released on December 20th right before the roster
deadline but it looks like the Swarm want a bit more offense for the opener in Rochester against the Knighthawks.
The Swarm also added defenseman Travis Hill to the practice roster. The Swarm can
add two more for a max of three at any time during the season.
- 12/21/04 - 23-Man 2005 Minnesota Swarm Roster
The Minnesota Swarm announced their 23-man roster for the upcoming season beginning January 1, 2005 in Rochester, NY.
- 12/16/04 - Sting Hand Swarm Pre-Season Loss
The Minnesota Swarm traveled to Arizona to play the Sting in their final pre-season game and fell 16-13.
Kerry Susheski had two goals and three assists while Chad Culp
had a goal and four assists. The Swarm finished 1-2 and will finalize their roster by December 21st for the opener
in Rochester on New Year's Day.
- 12/16/04 - 2005 Minnesota Swarm Schedule 2.0
With the Vancouver Ravens not playing in the 2005 season due to arena unavailability, the NLL was left with ten teams and
needed to revise the 2005 schedule. The Anaheim Storm road game on February 13th was moved to April 9th. The road game in
Toronto was removed and replaced by a road trip to San Jose to play the Stealth on January 22nd.
The home game on April 1st will be against Colorado instead of Vancouver.

- 12/15/04 - The Vancouver Ravens Will Not Play in 2005 and Their Players Are Dispersed
The National Lacrosse League announced that the Vancouver Ravens will not participate in the 2005 season as they were unable
to get a lease agreement for an arena this season. A new schedule will be drawn up and their players were dispersed in a draft.
When a team drafted one of the former Ravens, they had to release a player from their own roster. In the link above, you can find
out who the Swarm drafted from the Ravens and who they had to let go to do so.
- 12/11/04 - The Swarm Get Their First Win, Even Though It Don't Count
The Minnesota Swarm and Colorado Mammoth met again for the second straight time, this time in Colorado. Unlike last
night, the Swarm got revenge with a 12-10 victory. Brock Boyle led the Swarm with three goals,
the first ever Swarm hat trick even though it don't count. Sean Pollock and
Jamie Taylor each had two goals. Matt Disher
and John McLellan split time in goal.
