- 01/12/13 - Minnesota Swarm 12 Buffalo Bandits 12
The Swarm opened their season opener in Buffalo well, leading throughout, but gave up six goals in the fourth quarter and ended up losing 13-12 to the Bandits.
Ryan Benesch led the Swarm with four goals and three assists. Rookie Shayne Jackson notched
a hat trick ih his first game (3g 1a).

The Swarm start their ninth season in Buffalo against the Bandits on Saturday night at 6:30 pm. Andrew Suitor will miss the first
two games of the season due to suspension but Brock Sorensen has been activated off the PUP List officially to take his place. The
Swarm are 3-5 in season openers and 4-4 in road openers. Head Coach Joe Sullivan stated earlier this week that he will rotate between
Evan Kirk and Tyler Carlson in net for a second straight year to start this season. The starter will be a game day decision.
- 01/09/13 - Andrew Suitor will miss the first two games of the season due to suspension from his activities in the West Final
against Edmonton on May 12, 2012. He will be available to return on January 26th for the home opwner against washington. Brock
Sorensen has tweeted that he is cleared to play by doctors after recovering from his knee injury. He will be activated for this week's game in Buffalo.
It is not yet certain if Suitor will be taken off the active roster for the first two games of the year.
