The chances of the Minnesota Swarm, after finishing the season 5-11 and on s six game losing streak, to move on to the West Finals were
pretty low. The chances decreased greatly after falling behind 6-1 to the Washington Stealth after the first quarter and were completely quashed
as the Swarm fell 14-10 in Everett to the Stealth. The loss is the fourth in a row in Swarm playoff history, which has not yet seen a victory for the
men in blue and gold.
Rhyd Duch scored four of his six goals in the first quarter for the Stealth as they jumped out big in their playoff debut in Everett. He even
scored shorthanded to make it 4-1 after the Swarm finally broke through with a goal from Andrew Watt.
